“Mashinostroenie Publishers” is the largest Russian scientific and technical publishing house. It was founded in 1918. The publishing house issues scientific, industrial, educational books as well as reference and encyclopedic literature, handbooks on all the aspects of machine building: machine tools, instrument making, power machine building, automotive industry, building machines, agricultural machines, aerospace industry, light and food industries, material sciences, metallurgy, computer technologies, information science, turbine construction etc. It also issues 14 monthly scientific-and-technical and practical journals.

«Machinery Equipment» is the specialized magazine for users, producers and developers of electrical equipment, woodworking, metal-working, laser equipment, stuff and concomitant commodities. The exhibition center «Permskaya Yarmarka» is one of regional leaders of exhibition business. In the course of year it conducts about 30 inter-regional special-purpose exhibitions, the part from which takes place with the international participation. Since 1995 «Permskaya Yarmarka» is a member of the Russian (International) Union of exhibitions and fairs. The «Quality Symbol» of this Union has been given to 10 exhibitions for a high level of their organization. Since 2011 «Permskaya Yarmarka» is a member of UFI - Global Association of the Exhibition Industry.

Some international exhibitions of the «Permskaya Yarmarka» are the largest among spent in other regions («The Building complex of regions of Russia», «Machine tools. Devices. The Tool», «Oil. Gas. Chemistry», «Технодрев Ural». Volga region». They all have the official patronage of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. All industry exhibitions have support of the Government of the PermTerritory and Administration of the Perm city.

Since the foundation of the «Permskaya Yarmarka» (1991 year) more than 60 countries of the world, including the country of the Europe, the Great Britain, the USA, Canada, the Scandinavian countries, the Chinese national republic and other countries of Asian-Pacific region, have taken part in exhibitions. Annually the «Permskaya Yarmarka» accepts over two hundred thousand visitors.

«Permskaya Yarmarka» is the owner of a complex which includes two special-purpose exhibition pavilions connected by a capital building.

There are all basic elements of an infrastructure of modern expocentre: conference rooms, rooms for negotiations, cafe, restaurant, service department, warehouses. The total area of expocentre makes about ten thousand square meters. Near to pavilions exist the parking place, the park zone and the open exposition about ten thousand square meters.

Equally with the traditional special-purpose exhibition arrangements conduct also the «Permskaya Yarmarka» the projects of a regional and federal level – forums of Privolzhsky federal district, conferences, seminars, presentations, corporate holidays and other mass actions.

Moreover the «Permskaya Yarmarka» organizes a participation of the Perm enterprises in the exhibition  arrangements in other cities of Russia and abroad.
